Tom Atkins, Princeton Wellness Club Team Leader
With a Masters Degree in Communications, experience in corporate, small business and startups, Tom Atkins rounds out our Wellness Club Team with exceptional customer service skills, public speaking, attention to detail and true enthusiasm for the mission of Whole Foods Market and the Wellness Club.
Tom believes that leading and living by example in wellness is imperative in order to make a true difference in people’s lives. As a proud father of two, he is passionate about providing a better future for the next generation through nutrition, long term health and well being.
Anthony Dissen, Princeton Wellness Club Chef/Educator
Anthony Dissen, RD, is a registered dietitian focusing in plant-based diets and preventative health care. Anthony received his Bachelors of Science in Dietetics from Rutgers University, and completed his supervised clinical practice in clinical and community dietetics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Anthony has worked as the Outpatient and Community Education Dietitian at the University Medical Center at Princeton, and has taught health supportive cooking classes through the Breast Cancer Resource Center of New Jersey and Middlesex County College.
Christina Tani, Princeton Wellness Club Educator
Christina Tani joins the Wellness Club Team with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University. In addition, she has completed a Graduate-Level Teacher Certification Program at Rider University and is a Certified Teacher in the State of New Jersey. As a lifelong resident of the Garden State, Christina has dedicated her career to promoting health and wellness through nutrition education to all age groups. She has worked as Nutrition Coordinator for the Mercer County Head Start Program, Nutrition Specialist at Rutgers University, and most recently, as a Leader for Weight Watchers. Christina demonstrates a genuine passion for motivating and inspiring people to make healthy lifestyle changes. With enthusiasm and sincerity, Christina is devoted to her work as well as her family. Her daughter is her pride and joy!
Katie Vnenchak, Wellness Club Educator
After obtaining her bachelor’s in Communications from the College of New Jersey, Katie worked in the corporate/business world for several years. Feeling unfulfilled, she decided to go back to school and pursue her true passion in life, Nutrition. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Nutrition from Montclair State University. Since graduation, Katie has focused her studies on learning about holistic health and nutrition. She spent a number of years working at the university Medical Center at Princeton’s Eating Disorder Center. Katie’s personal mission is to spread the word of obtaining health through food instead of medicine to all age groups and all economic status, and to help people improve their lives.
Cassie Jaeger, Wellness Club Specialist
As a graduate from the Natural Kitchen Cooking School, Cassie is an expert in plant based cooking, and eating! Her passion for health and wellness lead her to going back to school, where she is currently working towards becoming a certified health coach. “I want to teach people just how powerful and effective food is, and how it is impacting our health”. In her free time, Cassie regularly practices Bikram Yoga.
