Set your own pace with personalized lifestyle, cooking and nutrition coaching. Our wellness clubs are focused on improving individual health through teaching and coaching techniques centered on personal desires, goals and pace. Whether you’d like a private shopping tour, tips on stocking a healthier pantry, support dealing with deprivation, assistance creating a mealplan, or help converting your favorite recipes — our coaches are here for you. When you schedule a session, they’ll help you identify your goals, and then give you the tools and support you need to achieve your goals and overcome obstacles that you are facing.

Meet Our Wellness Club Coaches:

Liz C., Wellness Club Educator

Liz is a Holistic Health Counselor certified through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.  Liz has a growing private practice and is currently enrolled in the Institute’s Professional Training Program.  Liz’s approach emphasizes gentle but effective lifestyle change through goal coaching and self-awareness training.  In addition, Liz has been educating the Lincoln Park community about health and wellness through her work as a wellness tour guide and guest lecturer for CHEW (Complete Health Education and Wellness) Chicago.  Liz is also a performance artist and theatre instructor who has taught and directed students from three years of age to adult.  Liz specializes in hands-on, interactive education which encourages independent thought, creative self-expression, and body awareness.

Katie S., Wellness Club Chef

Katie’s degree in the Culinary Arts from Kendall College has given her a strong foundation for the technique and history of professional cookery.  She has been honored to work with renowned Chicago chefs to hone her skills in restaurants, catering, and private chef services.  As a certified Personal Trainer (AFAA) and Group Fitness Instructor (AFAA) with over 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry, Katie has developed a passion for creating healthy lifestyles.  She also earned a certification in Plant Based Nutrition from eCornell University.  Katie’s coaching style is collaborative, working with individuals to create customized plans that incorporate healthy eating, culinary skills, and fitness programs. 

Heather S., Wellness Club Team Leader

Heather has a degree in Secondary Education and has been teaching in various capacities throughout the 12 years that she has worked with Whole Foods Market.  She spent many years in Store Leadership and as a Human Resources Coordinator.  Heather is a Certified Personal Trainer and also holds a certification in Plant Based Nutrition from eCornell University.  Whether it’s one-on-one or in a classroom setting, Heather’s coaching focuses on thorough education and her goal is to help individuals excel in their healthy lifestyles.   

Adriana B., E-RYT, Wellness Club Educator

Adriana is a certified hatha yoga teacher, emphasizing alignment fundamentals in her teaching. She loves to work with beginning-level students as they discover the benefits to body and mind that a consistent yoga practice can bring. Adriana holds an E-RYT (Experienced, Registered Yoga Teacher) designation through Yoga Alliance, a bachelor’s degree in Political Science grounded in social justice, and is currently working on a Master of Public Health degree at DePaul University focusing on Community Health. She also earned a certification in Plant Based Nutrition from eCornell University. When working with students and Whole Foods Market customers, Adriana seeks to match healthy living practices with each person’s interests and preferences, helping to create healthy habits that people will enjoy and sustain.
